About Mincrea

I'm Amine — cinematographer, director, and founder of Mincrea (officially: Ministerie van Creativiteit — the "Ministry of Creativity"). I've made video for brands like Bol.com, Nike, and Cartier, and told stories for organisations like WWF, Oxfam, and the GGD. Different worlds, same job: figuring out what a brand or a cause actually stands for, and turning that into something people want to watch.

I work as a freelancer, which means you work directly with me — no account managers, no hand-offs. From the first conversation to the final cut, I'm the one behind the camera and in the edit.

I shoot on the same cameras used on high-end commercial and broadcast productions — RED V-Raptor XL, RED Komodo-X, ARRI Amira, and the Nikon ZR — matched with a studio of my own to shoot and light in. That means the look you see in a big-budget campaign is available on your project too, without the overhead of a full production company.

I'm your one point of contact, but through the studio I can also scale up with a trusted network of freelance gaffers, camera assistants, and other crew — so you get the flexibility of a freelancer with the capacity of a full crew when a project calls for it.

Alongside my own work, I co-founded a film studio in Amsterdam-Noord with Jip, where filmmakers, artists, and other makers share space and ideas. You can read more about that here →
